Job summary

MCS Management Sdn Bhd is seeking a Civil Engineering graduate to assist in monitoring daily construction activities for a bridge approach project. The role involves piling, foundation works, RC structures, and roadworks, with focus on quality control and progress reporting.

The candidate will coordinate with sub-contractors, suppliers, and site supervisors, assist surveyors, and ensure OSHA safety compliance while maintaining project documentation on site in Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• 0 to 2 years of working experience in construction
• Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) as a Graduate Engineer
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project)
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English (both written and spoken)
• Must possess own transport and be willing to be based on-site in Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan for the duration of the project

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring daily construction activities, including piling, foundation works, reinforced concrete structures, and roadworks related to the bridge approach
• Ensure all materials and workmanship comply with project specifications, approved method statements, and regulatory standards
• Prepare accurate daily and weekly site progress reports, documenting site conditions, machinery allocation, manpower, and weather conditions
• Liaise with sub-contractors, suppliers, site supervisors, and general workers to ensure the construction schedule is met
• Assist the site surveyor with leveling, setting out, and verifying structural alignments
• Enforce strict on-site health, safety, and environmental protocols, ensuring all personnel adhere to OSHA guidelines and project safety plans
• Assist in preparing and managing site documentation, including Request for Inspections (RFI), site memos, and delivery orders

About you
