Job summary

JW EcoBuilders Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a capable Civil Engineer to join our on-site team for a major construction project. A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and at least 3 years of site experience are required.

You will assist the Project Manager, plan and monitor works to meet drawings and timelines, enforce quality and safety standards, and coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors and authorities. Willingness to travel/relocate to project sites is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 3 years’ experience in projects.
• Preferably registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia as Graduate or Professional Engineer.
• Familiar with Malaysia’s JKR Standard Specification, Standards Code of Practice & Regulations.
• Willing to travel/relocate to project site.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Project/Construction Manager on site management and construction works.
• To plan, monitor and ensure all works completed in time in compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Ensure project is executed according to contractual, quality and safety requirements.
• Liaise with Consultants, Clients, Sub-contractor and Authorities on all site matters.
• Supervise delivery and distribution of materials on site.
• Organize the workflows for sub-contractors and workers.
• Other duties as requested by Manager/Directors.
