Job summary

Qualifications

• Pass in Bahasa Melayu, including the oral test in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent recognised by the Government
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent recognised by the Government from any local or overseas higher learning institution
• Fresh graduates with internship experience in financial analysis, equity research, investment management, or corporate finance are encouraged to apply
• Good understanding of financial statements and business concepts
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
• Skilled in writing and presentations

Responsibilities

• Support coverage of assigned portfolio companies across sectors under guidance.
• Perform company and sector research, including data collection, financial analysis, peer benchmarking, performance monitoring, sector trend information and relevant corporate developments.
• Execute basic financial analysis and modelling tasks under guidance, including data input, ration calculations, and updates to existing financial models.
• Assist preparation of company visit materials, pre-reads, and meeting documentation, in addition to participating in company visits and broker-arranged engagement sessions to build foundational sector and company exposure under supervision.
• Perform administrative and ad-hoc tasks to support team operations.
