Job summary

RT Pastry Holdings Berhad in Malaysia is seeking bakery staff to prepare breads and pastries, including doughs and fillings, proofing, baking and decorating, while ensuring high quality products. You will read recipes, follow procedures, and maintain cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Role involves safe operation of baking tools, adherence to food safety policies, and physical tasks such as lifting heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads / pastries, including preparing doughs and fillings, proofing, baking, and decorating as appropriate.
• Ensure production of good quality products.
• Safely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools/equipment/appliances to prepare baked products.
• Follow and ensure compliance with food safety handling policies and procedures, including personal hygiene procedures.
• Ability to lift heavy items for an extended time
• Ability to read and follow recipes
• Ensure the proper storage of baking utensils.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by superior.
