Job summary

Perunding ALC Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated Junior M&E Drafter cum Assistant Design Engineer in Malaysia. You will support the engineering team with drafting and basic design tasks, gaining hands-on experience on real projects under senior guidance.

The role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals in mechanical and electrical engineering, with on-the-job training and potential growth into a Design Engineer role.

Qualifications

• Mandatory: SPM, Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or willingness to learn.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist design engineers in preparing basic M&E drawings and layouts.
• Draft 2D drawings using AutoCAD (training provided).
• Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers.
• Help prepare tender drawings & construction drawings.
• Maintain and organize drawing files and documentation.
• Assist in simple design calculations and system layouts under supervision.
• Participate in site visits to understand project requirements.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Junior M&E Drafter cum Assistant Design Engineer to support our engineering team in drafting and basic design tasks. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates starting their career in mechanical and electrical (M&E) engineering, with hands-on exposure to real projects and guidance from senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist design engineers in preparing basic M&E drawings and layouts
• Draft 2D drawings using AutoCAD (training provided if necessary)
• Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers and project teams
• Help prepare tender drawings & construction drawings
• Maintain and organize drawing files and documentation
• Assist in simple design calculations and system layouts under supervision
• Participate in site visits to understand project requirements (when required)

Requirements

• SPM, Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD (or willingness to learn)
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings is an advantage
