Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Draftsman to support the design team with drafting and drawing checks, printing and issuing drawings, and ensuring timely submissions including as-built drawings.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or SKM in Mechanical Engineering or Drafting, is proficient in AutoCAD, understands drafting techniques and engineering terminology, and demonstrates strong communication and a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Drafting drawings and checks as assigned by design leads.
• Printing and issuing drawings.
• Submit drawings on time, including as-built drawings.
• Maintain records for receiving and issuing drawings.
• Adhoc projects as assigned by Design Manager.

Responsibilities

• Draft drawings as assigned by chief draftsman or design manager.

Requirement:

1. Possess a minimum SKM/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting or equivalent.

2. Proficiency in CAD Software (AutoCAD, etc.) is a must.

3. Good understanding of drafting techniques and engineering terminology.

4. Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
