Job summary

GREENBAY CES (PG) SDN BHD is seeking a Junior Mechanical Drafter in Penang to support our data center and environmental solution projects. The role focuses on producing accurate 2D/3D drawings and aligning designs with project specifications.

Ideal candidates have a diploma/certificate in drafting and proficiency in AutoCAD. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply and join a young, energetic team. Immediate consideration to strengthen client relationships and project deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise 2D and/or 3D drawings using AutoCAD or ProgeCAD.
• Produce layouts, plans, sections, details, and schedules in accordance with project specifications and standards.
• Incorporate engineer’s mark-ups, comments and design changes accurately and promptly.
• Ensure drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Coordinate drawing interfaces with other disciplines to avoid clashes and inconsistencies.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision histories, and document control procedures.
• Assist in preparing shop drawings, as-built drawings, and tender or construction documentation.
• Perform basic quantity take-offs where required.
• Ensure all deliverables meet quality, accuracy, and deadline requirements.

This will be done by developing an appropriate level of communication with clients and internal team members to better understand and mitigate any issues the customers may face.

RESPONSIBILITY & AUTHORITY:

Prepare and revise 2D and/or 3D drawings using AutoCAD or ProgeCAD.

REQUIREMENT:

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.

Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Good attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Self-motivated and able to work independently.
