Job summary

AEG SDN BHD in Shah Alam is seeking a drafting professional to convert engineers' sketches into precise technical drawings using AutoCAD and BIM. You will ensure accuracy, clear communication, and easy-to-read formats for all drawings.

The role involves site visits for as-built drawings, updating drawing lists, and coordinating detailed drawings. Diploma holders with 1–2 years' experience and fluency in English/Bahasa Malaysia are preferred.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or related drafting.
• Proficient in AutoCAD software, Microsoft Word & Excel; knowledge of Autodesk Revit MEP and BIM is an advantage.
• Well organized with attention to details, able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin preferred for communicating with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Minimum 1 - 2 years working experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect, study, and combine rough sketches and initial design ideas from engineers into coherent technical drafts/drawing.
• Check that final technical drafts/drawing include all relevant information in an easy-to-read format, measurements and units are accurate.
• Able to produce coordination drawing/details/elevation/section drawing.
• Participate in as built drawing production, visit site weekly/biweekly to capture changes and translate into as-built drawings.
• Proper filling and update the drawing list from time to time.

Responsibilities

Collect, study, and combine rough sketches and initial design ideas from engineers into coherent technical drafts/drawing.

Check that final technical drafts/drawing include all relevant information in an easy-to-read format, measurements and units are accurate based on initial design information from engineers.

Able to produce coordination drawing/details/elevation/section drawing.

Participate in as built drawing production, visit site weekly/biweekly, to capture the changes and transform it into proper as built drawing.

Proper filling and update the drawing list from time to time.

Requirements
