Job summary

Siemens in Malaysia seeks an AR/Cash Collections specialist to manage collection efforts for strategic accounts and reduce delinquencies. You will prepare trackers, perform outbound calls, and liaise with the cash application team to ensure receipts are correctly applied.

The role requires 2–3 years in the field, a finance/accounting degree, strong English and local language skills, and advanced MS Office capabilities. Shift flexibility and month-end support are expected.

• 2-3 years minimum experience in the relevant field.
• Bachelor Degree in Finance Accounting.
• Excellent Verbal and written Communication skills.
• Proficient in English and local language.
• Advanced Accounting Knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Review open accounts for collection efforts and prepare templates and trackers.
• Make outbound collection calls and correspondences for strategic accounts.
• Reduce delinquency for assigned strategic accounts.
• Follow and implement the company collections procedure.
• Ensure cash receipts are applied to customer accounts by liaising with cash application team.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with commercials, sales, technical and project teams.
• Perform other tasks to support the Cash Collections Department.
• Participate in team planning meetings.
• Meet defined department goals and metrics.
