Job summary

Jp Premium Foods Sdn Bhd in Subang Jaya, Selangor seeks a Junior Account Executive to join our Financial Accounting & Reporting team. You will help manage company accounts and ensure records are accurate and compliant with standards.

The role requires 1–3 years of accounting experience, proficiency in SQL Accounting and MS Office, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while liaising with auditors and tax agents. It is a full-time, on-site position based in Subang Jaya.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of accounting operations or financial reporting experience.
• Proficient in SQL Accounting and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Process financial transactions and maintain detailed records.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.

This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our Financial Accounting & Reporting operations. As an Junior Account Executive, you will be instrumental in managing company accounts, ensuring accurate financial records is taken in.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Processing financial transactions and maintaining detailed accounting records
• Reconciling accounts and identifying discrepancies or areas requiring clarification
• Assisting in the preparation of month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with relevant accounting principles and regulatory requirements
• Liaise with external auditors, company secretary, tax agents, and relevant authorities.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance client satisfaction
• Collaborating with team members to meet deadlines and maintain service excellence

What we’re looking for

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience in accounting operations or financial reporting, ideally 1-3 years in a similar role
• Strong proficiency in accounting software such as SQL Accounting and Microsoft Office applications
