Job summary

Highpoint Service Network Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking an IT Technician/Engineer to diagnose and repair desktops, laptops, mobiles and printers at the Bayan Lepas branch.

You will replace faulty parts, maintain quality and turnaround targets, perform onsite preventive maintenance and update service records. The role requires 1–2 years of repair experience and a Diploma/Certificate in Electronics or IT.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate / Diploma in Electronics, IT, or related field.
• 1–2 years of PC or electronics repair experience preferred.
• Familiar with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair desktops, laptops, mobile phones, printers and other consumer electronics.
• Replace faulty parts and perform repairs according to company procedures.
• Ensure repairs meet quality and turnaround time targets.
• Perform onsite preventive maintenance, system checks and basic optimization.
• Identify technical issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Update repair records, results, and parts usage in the service system.
• Follow SOPs, ESD and safety guidelines; explain findings to customers when required.
• Support customer service and front-line operations as needed.
