Job summary

Kaifa Technology (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an IT Technician to support production IT equipment such as PCs, CCTV, scanners, and barcode printers. You will provide first level support for the traceability system and escalate to software engineers as needed.

Data analysis for traceability requests, helpdesk support for production offices, and suggesting cost-saving IT solutions are part of the role. Diploma in IT and at least 1 year of IT hardware/software experience are required; SQL

Qualifications

• Diploma in IT or relevant qualification.
• Minimum 1 year experience handling IT (hardware & software).
• SQL knowledge is an advantage (entry level acceptable).

Responsibilities

• First level support for production IT equipment (PCs, CCTV, scanners, barcode printers).
• Provide first level support on the traceability system and escalate to software engineers when needed.
• Data crunching for traceability system requests or generating reports for customers/production.
• Helpdesk support for production office users.
• Suggest cost‑saving IT equipment solutions for the manufacturing environment.
• Support system engineers on deployment of antivirus and system control tools.
