Job summary

IoTronix in Malaysia is seeking an IT Support professional to deliver hardware and software assistance for internal clients and production systems.

The role includes level 2 support for network, Windows, applications, hardware peripherals, CCTV and door access, plus investigation and rapid resolution of incidents to minimize downtime in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is required.
• 2–4 years of IT technical support, helpdesk, or infrastructure maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hardware and software support for clients.
• Perform level 2 support for Network, Windows, Applications, hardware peripheries, CCTV, Door Access support.
• Investigate problems, including identification, root cause analysis, solution definition, development, and implementation.
• Production IT support.

Qualifications Required

• Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in IT technical support, helpdesk operations, or infrastructure maintenance within a corporate or manufacturing environment.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with networking fundamentals, Windows administration, and enterprise security systems (CCTV, biometric/door access control).
• Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware peripherals, software applications, and network connectivity issues.
• Experience managing IT ticketing workflows and performing preventive maintenance on office and plant technology.

Personal Qualities

• Analytical and systematic approach to troubleshooting complex hardware and software incidents.
• Clear and professional customer service orientation when assisting internal users and cross-functional teams.
• Proactive in minimizing system downtime and ensuring rapid response to production IT emergencies.
