Job summary

Grand Dynamic Builders Sdn Bhd is seeking an IT support-oriented student to help with daily tech support, installations, and maintenance of IT equipment at our Shah Alam site.

The role involves assisting with IT systems, network infrastructure, inventory, and end-user help on Office 365 and company apps, while gaining exposure to system testing, backups, and security practices. Collaboration with vendors is expected.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking and IT troubleshooting.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office applications and Windows operating systems.
• Good communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to learn, responsible and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing daily IT technical support to employees, including troubleshooting hardware, software, network and printer issues.
• Assist in the installation, configuration and maintenance of computers, laptops, printers and other IT equipment.
• Support the maintenance of the company's IT systems, network infrastructure and software applications.
• Assist in monitoring and updating IT inventory records, including hardware, software and equipment.
• Provide technical assistance to employees on Microsoft Office 365, email systems and other company applications.
• Assist in system testing, troubleshooting and implementation of new IT applications or software.
• Support data backup, system updates and basic IT security procedures.
• Assist in preparing IT documentation, reports and user guides.
• Liaise with IT vendors or service providers when necessary.
• Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Superior.
