Job summary

SMI Holdings Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking an IT operations professional based in Selangor to ensure reliable Internet and networking facilities.

The role covers daily PC/Printer operations, hardware and software maintenance, and timely resolution of user issues to meet IT KPI targets. You will also be responsible for daily server backups, antivirus/security tasks, data monitoring in Sunny Portal, and assisting with ad-hoc assignments and budget planning.

Responsibilities

• To ensure all Internet and networking facilities are always available and good working condition.
• To ensure daily IT operation PC and printer which includes PC management, installation, upgrade & maintenance of hardware and software.
• To ensure all PC /Laptop user's complaint and problems are attended and to solve in a reasonable time frame as per IT department KPI.
• To ensure that server database backed up daily and are always up to date.
• To attend to ad-hoc assignments as per requested by superior from time to time.
• To plan, prepare and monitor IT budget which include all IT purchase and expenses.
• Installing and upgrading anti-virus software and watch guard to ensure security for PC and servers.
• Data monitoring in Sunny Portal daily.
• Any assignment given by superior from time to time.
