Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a hands-on IT Technician to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. The role focuses on IT hardware, equipment setup, troubleshooting and technical support across desktops, laptops, printers and related peripherals.

Responsibilities include diagnosing hardware issues, performing upgrades and repairs, and setting up network equipment. You will provide on-site support, maintain CCTV/access control systems, and travel between company locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware and Troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of networking, LAN, Wi-Fi and cabling.
• Able to assemble, upgrade and repair desktop computers.
• Fresh graduates with strong hardware knowledge are encouraged to apply.
• Good communication skills and able to work independently.

Install, set up and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers and other IT equipment

Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues, including PC components, RAM, hard disks/SSD, power supply, monitors and peripherals

Perform hardware replacement, upgrading and basic repair

Set up and troubleshoot network equipment, LAN connections, Wi-Fi and cabling

Assist with installation and maintenance of CCTV, access control and other IT-related equipment

Provide on-site technical support to users and resolve basic IT issues

Conduct regular checking and maintenance of IT equipment

Requirements

Min 1 year experience required.

Strong knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting

Basic knowledge of networking, LAN, Wi-Fi and cabling

Able to assemble, upgrade and repair desktop computers

Hands-on and practical approach to problem solving

Fresh graduates with strong hardware knowledge are encouraged to apply
