Job summary

TDCX is seeking an IT Support/Server Operations professional in Malaysia to monitor, maintain, and secure our server infrastructure in a fast-paced BPO environment. The role focuses on uptime, capacity planning, security compliance, and process documentation, contributing to reliable IT services for global clients.

Ideal candidates will have IT-related degrees, hands-on server/network experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in IT or related field.
• 2 years of related work experience preferred, fresh graduates welcome.
• Knowledge of IT equipment, both hardware and software.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems systematically.
• Familiarity with ticketing tools and inventory systems.
• Hands-on experience with computer networks, server administration, and server installation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and local market language.

Responsibilities

• Monitor servers to keep uptime high in a 24/7 environment.
• Provide weekly and monthly uptime, capacity, security compliance, and SLA reports.
• Document server configurations, processes, and policies for standard builds.
• Audit system vulnerabilities and ensure patch management.
• Oversee security compliance and patching of mission-critical servers.
• Perform daily/weekly/monthly backups and recovery activities.
• Take on other duties as assigned to support IT operations and quality management.
