Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Diploma/Degree qualified IT support specialist in Penang's Bayan Lepas area to provide daily IT assistance across computers, printers, and office systems. You will install, configure, and maintain OS and software, manage IT assets, and monitor network connectivity in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires solid knowledge of Windows OS, networking, and Microsoft Office, with good problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems, computer hardware, networking, and IT troubleshooting.
• Experience in desktop support, network maintenance, or manufacturing IT support is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily IT support and troubleshooting for computers, printers, office equipment, and user systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and user accounts.
• Manage IT assets including computers, network equipment, and related devices.
• Maintain IT inventory records, asset tracking, and equipment management reports.
• Perform basic network maintenance including switches, routers, Wi‑Fi, cabling, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Monitor and ensure stable operation of factory IT systems, office networks, and production support systems.
• Support IT projects, system improvements, data backup, and cybersecurity activities.
• Maintain IT support records and provide timely assistance to employees.
