Job summary

The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) in Kuala Lumpur seeks an Executive, IT Support to monitor and maintain the organisation's computer systems, install hardware and software, and provide technical assistance to staff.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, 1–3 years IT administration experience, and proficiency in Windows and Mac OS, Google Workspace and Office 365. This on-site position is based in Kuala Lumpur.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or other relevant degree or qualification.
• 1–3 years IT administration and IT support experience.
• Experience with Windows and/or Mac OS; troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Proficient in Google Workspace and Office 365; good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks and printers.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems, server, firewall, cloud storage, I-PBX, CCTV and networks.
• Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software issues.
• Conduct periodic maintenance check of hardware and perform repairs when required and planned replacements of equipment.
• Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests within agreed response time including support for multiple time zones.
• Prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of equipment to users and maintain an accurate IT hardware and software register.
• Provide technical support, including remote troubleshooting and training on applications to users.
• Create and/or maintain user guides, procedural documentation, and relevant reports.
• Apart from the duties stated above, to perform any duty or duties reasonably assigned.
