Job summary

Simpang Ampat, Malaysia – Zohorecruit seeks an IT Support Specialist to troubleshoot internal IT issues, manage incidents via ITSM, and deploy software and devices. You will configure desktops, laptops, printers and network gear, support IoT/PLC environments, and maintain documentation. Onboarding assistance and cross-team collaboration are required.

The role is on-site in Penang, requiring hands-on problem solving and a proactive approach to IT service delivery.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT support and troubleshooting experience in an active corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Office apps, and AD management.
• Experience with printers, networked devices, and basic server services.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues raised by internal users.
• Manage incidents, service requests and technical issues via ITSM system.
• Install, configure, update and deploy software and equipment.
• Set up and maintain laptops, desktops and end-user devices.
• Support IoT and PLC environments across the site.
• Create and maintain documentation and knowledge base.
• Assist with onboarding and IT training for new staff.
