Job summary

Worldwide Holdings Berhad is seeking an IT Infrastructure Specialist to manage Microsoft 365, AD/Entra ID, and network services, while supporting Windows servers, backups, security and end-user devices in a Malaysian corporate setting.

You will handle onboarding, procurement, vendor coordination, and incident resolution, ensuring compliant and reliable IT operations across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Networking, Cybersecurity or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, network or system administration.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID and Windows environment.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, firewalls, switching, Wi‑Fi, DNS and DHCP.
• Experience in endpoint management, IT security, backup, asset management and user support.
• Experience in vendor management and IT procurement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Microsoft 365 environment, including Admin Center, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID, Intune and Purview, covering user, license, access, device and compliance administration.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, email, shared folders, security groups and related identity services.
• Monitor, configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure (switches, firewalls, Wi‑Fi, VPN, VLAN, internet).
• Support Windows servers, Active Directory, file servers, backup systems and basic cloud infrastructure.
• Provide technical support for laptops, desktops, printers, software and other IT issues.
• Manage endpoint security, antivirus/EDR, security policies and device compliance.
• Perform IT asset management, including device setup, tagging, allocation, replacement and lifecycle tracking.
• Conduct IT onboarding sessions for new joiners, including briefings on corporate IT systems, security requirements and acceptable use of IT resources.
• Provision and prepare IT devices, peripherals and access for new joiners in coordination with HR to ensure readiness by joining date.
• Manage procurement of IT hardware, software and licenses, including specs, quotations, vendor coordination and documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors on maintenance, warranty matters and infrastructure projects.
• Assist in IT projects such as network upgrades, device deployment, security solutions and server/cloud improvements.
• Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, diagrams, asset records and configuration records.
• Monitor and resolve IT incidents and service requests within SLAs.
• Support IT governance, cybersecurity, audit and compliance as applicable.
