Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Lead to maintain and manage IT security policy, SOPs, ISMS compliance, and staff awareness programs. The role covers IT management, network and security operations, and collaboration with HQ IT Security.

You will oversee network and systems, implement security controls, and ensure documentation and governance align with corporate standards. A rewarding opportunity in a dynamic environment with regional exposure.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree or professional certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• CCNA, CCNP, or JNCIP certifications highly valued.
• 3–5 years of IT network and patches management experience.
• Technical & management skills in IT infrastructure, ISMS policy, and SOP experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT infrastructure projects as assigned by the company.
• Maintain the integrity of the network, servers, databases, and security deployments.
• Provide change, incident, and problem management, and operational support for IT systems and devices.
• Deliver technical documentation for infrastructure, control procedures, and operations.
• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless access points for security and performance.
• Monitor network performance using Wireshark or SolarWinds and troubleshoot to prevent downtime.
• Design scalable, redundant network architecture with failover capabilities.
• Coordinate IT security risk assessments and ISMS-related activities with HQ.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the company.

  • Manage any IT infrastructure projects assigned by the company.
  
  
  • Assist on capex (capital expenditure) and budget forecast submission.
  
  
  
  


• IT Infrastructure and Operation
  
  
  
  • Maintain the integrity of the company's network, server, database, and security deployment.
  
  
  • Provide change management, incident and problem management, and operational support for IT systems and devices.
  
  
  • Deliver technical documentation for infrastructure, control procedures, and operations.
  
  
  • Configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless access points to optimize network performance and security
  
  
  • Monitoring network performance using tools like Wireshark or SolarWinds and troubleshooting issues to prevent downtime

  • Implement, follow up, maintain, and assist in J-SOX ITCLC matters assigned by the HQ Information Security Department.
  
  
  • Cooperate with Japan HQ IT Network & Security Department to maintain security policies and guidelines.
  
  
  • Conduct IT security risk assessments and risk management based on the ISMS ISO 27001:2013 standard.
  
  
  • Plan and execute IT audit and technical consultancy assignments (including general IT controls, application reviews, and security assessments).
  
  
  • Coordinate IT security incident handling and investigations.

Job Requirements

• Qualification: Minimum Degree or Professional Certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.


• Certificate: Industry-recognized certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or JNCIP are highly valued


• Experience: At least 3 to 5 years of working experience in IT network and patches management services


• Skill: Technical & management skills in IT infrastructure, ISMS policy, and hands‑on SOP experience.
