Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Specialist (Network) to manage and strengthen the IT network and infrastructure. The role focuses on stability, security, performance, and ongoing improvement across systems.

The candidate will design, implement, and support secure networks, troubleshoot across multiple platforms, and participate in audits and vendor management, including after-hours support when needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years hands-on experience in network and infrastructure support.
• CCNA certification is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of networking, firewalls, servers, VMware, Azure, O365, backup/restore, VPN, VLAN, IDS/IPS, WAF, and security solutions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in IT infrastructure and network projects, including planning, implementation, and configuration.
• Design, maintain, and support secure and scalable network infrastructure based on business and IT requirements.
• Troubleshoot, monitor, and resolve issues related to networks, servers, storage, VMware, firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Manage and maintain UAT, Production, and Disaster Recovery (DR) environments.
• Conduct infrastructure security monitoring, vulnerability assessments, system upgrades, firmware upgrades, and security patching.
• Support IT audits, vendor management, documentation, SOPs, policies, and technical reports.
• Provide timely technical support, including after-hours support for urgent incidents, while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
