Job summary

HTC Global Services MSC Sdn Bhd is seeking a cloud governance and security specialist to design and implement secure cloud solutions in line with industry standards. You will work on IAM, automation, and monitoring across AWS environments, driving secure, scalable landing zones and cloud readiness.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, governance compliance, and cost-effective cloud platform lifecycle management within a enterprise IT services context.

Qualifications

• Proficient with AWS services and cloud automation tooling.
• Experience implementing cloud governance and security controls.
• Familiar with industry standards (NIST) and FinOps concepts.
• Experience in greenfield/cloud migration projects.

Job description

Develop and implement cloud governance, management, and security standards and patterns.

Design and implement cloud connectivity, infrastructure, identity and access management (IAM), and monitoring solutions.

Build scalable, modular, and secure cloud landing zones.

Support cloud platform development and lifecycle management.

Evaluate existing infrastructure, systems, and processes to identify opportunities for cloud migration and modernisation.

Implement cloud security controls, AWS policies, and governance frameworks aligned with industry standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and cost-effective cloud solutions.

About you

Good knowledge of AWS cloud services and infrastructure automation, including AWS AFT, AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, GitHub/GitOps, AWS Systems Manager (SSM), and IAM.

Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, cloud security principles, NIST security frameworks, and AWS policy implementation and governance.

Understanding of AWS FinOps and data services such as AWS Glue and Amazon QuickSight.

Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies, including Docker, Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), or Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS).

Experience implementing IT and data security controls within cloud environments.

Exposure to large-scale cloud migration projects, including greenfield cloud platform development.

Experience developing and managing cloud platform products.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

A consultancy mindset with the ability to evaluate requirements and recommend effective technical solutions.
