Job description

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in Banking IT to lead and deliver technology projects across the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience managing project delivery, coordinating with cross‑functional teams and vendors, overseeing testing activities, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple IT projects from initiation through implementation and post‑production support.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Track project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage project governance, reporting, and stakeholder communications.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end testing lifecycle, including test planning, execution, defect management, and sign‑off.
• Facilitate defect review meetings with business users, vendors, and IT teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate with offshore development teams and third‑party vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with internal governance, regulatory requirements, and project documentation standards.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of IT Project Management experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience managing Banking IT projects.
• Successfully delivered at least two end‑to‑end project implementations.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Experience managing UAT, SIT, testing coordination, and defect management.
• Strong knowledge of project governance, risk management, budgeting, and reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Experience working with offshore development teams and external vendors.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum certifications will be an advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Banking domain knowledge with experience in core banking, digital banking, payments, or regulatory projects.
• Hands‑on experience using project management and reporting tools such as JIRA, Microsoft Project, or Azure DevOps.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
