We are looking for an experienced Head of Treasury IT to lead and oversee Treasury IT applications, technology delivery, system maintenance, and support within a banking or financial services environment. The successful candidate will provide strategic and technical leadership, manage business and technology stakeholders, drive solution delivery, and ensure the effective management of treasury systems, resources, vendors, and IT budgets.

Key responsibilities

Lead and oversee Treasury IT application services, including project delivery, system maintenance, application support, and continuous improvement.

Manage end-to-end treasury technology solutions, ensuring effective delivery, system performance, and operational stability.

Work closely with business users, project stakeholders, and technology teams to understand business requirements, conduct requirement studies, and propose appropriate technical solutions.

Provide technical leadership and advisory on solution design, system architecture, application development, and testing.

Oversee the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation support.

Manage and coordinate external vendors, technology partners, and third-party service providers.

Oversee IT budget planning, resource allocation, project prioritisation, and vendor contract management.

Lead and manage a team of 20+ professionals, ensuring effective people management, resource planning, performance management, and delivery outcomes.

Drive stakeholder engagement and ensure alignment between business objectives and technology solutions.

Review and negotiate vendor contracts, ensuring service quality, cost effectiveness, and compliance with organisational requirements.

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

At least 10 years of management experience within an IT environment, preferably in banking or financial services.

Strong technical expertise and hands‑on understanding of Treasury IT applications and systems.

In-depth knowledge of Treasury business products, workflows, and processes, including Foreign Exchange (FX / Forex), Money Market, Fixed Income / Bonds, Derivatives and Structured Products, Futures and Treasury Products, and Derivatives and Structured Products Pricing and Calculation.

Strong understanding of treasury business process flows and the underlying technology supporting treasury operations.

Experience managing large IT teams, preferably 20+ team members.

Proven experience in solution delivery, application maintenance, production support, and resource management.

Strong experience in vendor management, stakeholder engagement, IT budgeting, and contract negotiation.

Good understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, project management frameworks, and technical documentation.

Professional certifications in Project Management, Agile, SDLC, or relevant technology disciplines will be an added advantage.
