Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead end-to-end software implementation and system enhancements within a banking environment. IT Project Manager – Banking / Software Implementation

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to manage and deliver end-to-end software implementation and system enhancement projects within a banking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage IT system implementation and enhancement projects from initiation through project closure.
• Develop project charters, project plans, schedules, budgets and implementation strategies.
• Manage project scope, timelines, costs, resources, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Coordinate with internal teams, business stakeholders and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage project governance, change control, quality, audit and compliance requirements.
• Conduct project meetings and provide regular project status updates to management and key stakeholders.
• Prepare management reports and present project updates at steering committee meetings where required.
• Proactively identify project risks and issues and develop appropriate mitigation and resolution plans.
• Manage vendor delivery and ensure agreed timelines, quality and deliverables are achieved.
• Support post-go-live activities, including warranty support, issue management and project closure.

About you

• Minimum 5 years of IT Project Management experience with a proven track record in software implementation delivery.
• Experience managing projects through the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through implementation and closure.
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry is highly preferred.
• Experience in internet banking, mobile applications, digital banking or digital delivery projects will be an added advantage.
• Strong experience in project planning, risk and issue management, quality control, implementation and vendor management.
• Experience handling project governance, audit and compliance requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams and functions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and deliver within tight deadlines.
