Job summary

HTC Global Services MSC Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong banking/financial services background to support business and technology transformation initiatives. The role partners with business stakeholders, technology teams and project managers to translate requirements into functional solutions through the SDLC.

The successful candidate will gather requirements, conduct workshops, map AS-IS/TO-BE processes and prepare BRD/FRD/FSD, user stories and acceptance criteria,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking/financial services.
• Experience gathering business requirements and performing functional analysis.
• Experience preparing BRD, FRD/FSD, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Familiarity with SIT/UAT and software delivery lifecycle.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements from stakeholders.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong banking / financial services experience to support business and technology transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, developers and project teams to understand business needs, translate requirements into functional solutions and support projects throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

Gather, analyse and document business requirements from business stakeholders.

Conduct requirement workshops, stakeholder interviews and walkthroughs.

About you

Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Finance or a related discipline.

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in banking or financial services.

Strong experience in business requirements gathering and functional analysis.

Experience preparing BRD, FRD/FSD, user stories and functional specifications.

Good understanding of business process mapping, gap analysis and process improvement.

Experience working with business and technology stakeholders.

Hands-on experience with SIT/UAT and software delivery lifecycle.

Experience in Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall environments.

Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Banking / financial services domain experience is highly preferred.
