Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years IT project management experience.
• Strong IT infrastructure, software development, and system integration experience.
• Experience with PM methodologies, governance, and standards.
• Proficient with PM tools such as MS Project or Jira.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple medium complexity IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget.
• Develop comprehensive project plans with timelines, milestones, resources, and risk management strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams and ensure effective communication across stakeholders.
• Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables aligned with business goals and customer requirements.
• Monitor progress, track KPIs, and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and promptly resolve issues to ensure success.
• Manage project budgets and resource allocation within financial constraints.
• Conduct kick-off, progress, and post-implementation review meetings.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and policies.

Purpose

• As an IT Project Manager, you manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet business objectives, timelines, and budgets. Oversee project teams, coordinate resources, and address risks and challenges to achieve successful outcomes. Collaborate with stakeholders and teams to deliver successful project outcomes.

• Manage the procurement and deployment of necessary project resources, including software, hardware, and third-party services.
• Manage change requests and ensure that all changes are thoroughly documented, assessed, and approved before implementation.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality project outcomes, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field is required.
• Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) demonstrate expertise in project management practices.
• Master’s Degree: A master’s degree in project management, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Experience

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex IT projects.
• Strong technical background with hands‑on experience in IT infrastructure, software development, and system integration projects.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement project management methodologies, best practices, and standards.
• Experience with project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar platforms.
• Proven experience in budget management, resource allocation, and financial oversight of IT projects.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor project team members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) are preferred.
• Experience in risk management, change management, and quality assurance processes.
