Job summary

SBM Offshore is seeking a FPSO Product Development Manager to lead product development efforts for offshore projects in Malaysia. You will oversee product development leads and engineers, collaborate with framing to align client needs, and validate development plans to ensure alignment with project execution.

The role requires extensive offshore industry experience, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate internal stakeholders across technology, I&G, and GRS.

Qualifications

• 15 years’ experience in offshore industry.
• Relevant line management experience.
• Relevant construction, operation, installation, and supply chain experiences.
• Good technical knowledge of SBM Offshore products.

Responsibilities

• The FPSO Product Development manager has the overall responsibility to:
• Collaborate with Framing manager to monitor client needs and identify product to be developped
• Assign the product development leads and product devlopement engineers
• Validate product development plans issued by the leads
• Ensure and foster collaboration with Internal stakeholders such as I &G/Technology/GRS
• Ensure that product developed are compatible with the project execution
• Prepare communication and reporting
