Job summary

Monroe Consulting Group is seeking a Head of IT Operations & Infrastructure Management in Kuching, Malaysia. This leader will shape the IT infrastructure strategy, governance, and operations to ensure scalable, secure, and highly available services across the organisation.

The role requires 15+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure and Technology Management, with a strong track record in cloud, on-premise, and vendor management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, IT Operations, Cloud Services, or Technology Management roles.
• Proven experience leading large-scale infrastructure environments and enterprise technology operations.
• Strong experience managing technology vendors, commercial agreements, and outsourced service providers.
• Demonstrated success delivering complex technology initiatives within business-critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT infrastructure strategy, governance, and operational management for secure, scalable, and highly available services.
• Oversee network and cloud management, ensuring high availability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Implement IT service management practices and monitor performance for continuous improvement.
• Manage vendor relationships, procurement, contracts, and SLA compliance.
• Provide technical leadership across infrastructure, cloud services, and governance; drive transformation and operational excellence.
