Job summary

Woh Hup Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an IT Operations Specialist to manage and support day-to-day IT infrastructure and end-user services in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure continuous IT operations and system reliability.

The role involves supporting servers, networks, hardware and software, plus participating in IT projects and system rollouts.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-4 years of hands-on IT support, infrastructure, or system administration experience.
• Exposure to IT projects, system rollouts, or vendor coordination is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain company IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software systems.
• Provide day-to-day technical support to end users for hardware, software, system, and network-related issues.
• Perform user account management, system access setup, password resets, and software installations.
• Provide end-user support as part of broader IT infrastructure and system responsibilities; not a dedicated helpdesk role.
• Support IT enhancement and system improvement projects, including vendor coordination, UAT, rollout, and maintenance.
• Monitor system performance, data security, system integrity, and backup compliance.
• Liaise with external vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth IT operations.
• Assist Head of Department in developing SOPs, user guides, and basic IT staff training.
• Maintain documentation for systems, configurations, and IT processes.
