Job summary

V.S. Industry Berhad, a leading electronics manufacturer in Malaysia, invites experienced SAP ABAP developers to join our IT team. You will develop and maintain ABAP programs, enhance SAP screens, and implement integrations via APIs and SAP Gateway.

The role covers web application modules and intranet system enhancements to support business growth. We seek candidates with at least a diploma or bachelor’s in CS/IT and 2+ years in software development, familiar with SAP ABAP, Fiori, S4/HANA, and

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience in related field, preferably in Software/application development.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain ABAP programs including Module Pools, ALV Reports, and custom dialog screens.
• Perform SAP screen enhancements to improve usability.
• Implement enhancements using BADI, User Exits, and custom ABAP logic.
• Develop and integrate SAP APIs, including OData/REST services, for SAP S/4HANA integrations.
• Develop and consume SAP APIs with SAP Gateway/OData services, with proper authentication and error handling.
• Troubleshoot and support API integrations (HTTP/HTTPS, JSON/XML, CSRF, SAP Gateway).
• Develop custom interfaces and integration programs for data exchange between SAP and third‑party systems.
• Design and develop new web application modules based on requirements.
• Customize and enhance existing intranet applications to meet organizational needs.
• Maintain, expand, and optimize intranet systems for business growth.
• Integrate data from plugins, backend services, MS SQL databases, and third‑party systems into intranet and SAP S/4HANA platforms.
• Ensure secure data exchange across systems.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, implement bug fixes, and optimize performance.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and user manuals.

• Troubleshoot and support API integrations, including HTTP/HTTPS, JSON/XML, CSRF tokens, SAP Gateway, and authorization issues.
  Develop custom interfaces and integration programs for data exchange between SAP and third‑party systems.

(b) Web Application Development

• Design and develop new web application modules based on business and technical requirements.
• Customize and enhance existing intranet applications to meet evolving organizational needs.
• Maintain, expand, and optimize intranet systems to support business growth.

(c) System Integration & Data Management

• Integrate data from plugins, backend services, MS SQL databases, and third‑party systems into intranet and SAP S/4HANA platforms.
• Ensure seamless and secure data exchange across systems.

(d) System Support & Optimization

• Troubleshoot technical issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Implement bug fixes and optimize system performance.
• Provide technical support and solutions to end users.

(e) Documentation & Governance

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and user manuals.
• Ensure proper system documentation to support knowledge transfer and onboarding.

• Skills Needed: Experience in SAP ABAP, SAP Fiori, S4/HANA, ASP.Net, C#, HTML, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax, Web API, JSON,XML,MS SQL, Object-oriented Programming.
