Oxydata Software Sdn Bhd is looking for an IT Programmer to join its internal IT team in Labuan. You will develop, maintain and enhance in-house business applications and support system integrations across the organisation.

You will work closely with various departments to understand requirements, implement practical IT solutions and continually improve systems, APIs and ERP integrations. Fresh graduates with strong projects are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of software development experience preferred; fresh grads with strong projects welcome.
• Strong programming skills in C#, Java, Python or PHP.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server or MySQL.
• Familiarity with APIs, web apps or system integration.
• Exposure to ERP systems or Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous.

About the Role

We are looking for an IT Programmer to join the internal Information Technology team.

You will be responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing in-house business applications while supporting system integrations, databases and enterprise applications used across the organisation.

The role will work closely with internal users and different business departments to understand operational requirements, develop suitable solutions and continuously improve existing systems.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and enhance in-house business applications.

Gather and analyse user requirements and translate them into practical IT solutions.

Design, develop, test, debug and implement software applications.

Maintain and support existing applications, databases and programs.

Troubleshoot application issues and provide technical support to users.

Develop and maintain integrations between internal applications, ERP systems and other business platforms.

Work with APIs and system interfaces to support data exchange between applications.

Support database maintenance and application-related data requirements.

Work closely with users and business departments to identify system improvements and automation opportunities.

Prepare technical documentation, system specifications, user guides and application documentation.

Ensure applications comply with internal IT standards, security requirements and development best practices.

Participate in application enhancements, system upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 2–3 years of software development or programming experience preferred.

Fresh graduates with strong programming skills and relevant internship/project experience are also encouraged to apply.

Hands-on experience in one or more of the following technologies:

Java

Python

PHP

Good knowledge of relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL.

Understanding of software development, debugging and application support.

Experience in API development, web applications or system integration will be an advantage.

Exposure to ERP systems or Microsoft Dynamics will be highly advantageous.

Experience supporting applications within a manufacturing, industrial or enterprise environment is an added advantage.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good troubleshooting ability and attention to detail.

Good communication skills and ability to work with users from different departments.

Ability to work independently as well as within an IT team.
