Job summary

Sankyu Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an IT Executive to support day-to-day Information Systems operations, including business applications, hardware/software maintenance, network administration, and user support. You will coordinate with Sankyu Southeast Asia and Japan to plan, implement, and maintain IT systems and processes for reliable technology operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years IT support experience preferred; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with hardware, software, and network systems.
• Ability to learn and deploy new hardware and software, including business solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration is an advantage.
• Proficiency with Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
• Experience with Windows workstation (Windows 11 Pro), server, and VM.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; ethical and confidential.
• Self-starter, proactive and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, monitor, upgrade, repair, and maintain IT infrastructure, servers, desktops, and related equipment.
• Maintain network servers and associated hardware, software, services, and settings.
• Create, adjust, and maintain network user settings and permissions.
• Write technical support documentation for network systems and applications.
• Provide responsive IT support on hardware, software, network and other IT matters.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, WAN, and internet connectivity.
• Ensure IT systems operate correctly and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure IT security and data protection compliance.
• Monitor Microsoft 365 Exchange Online for email security and reliability.
• Collaborate with IT Manager on strategies, plans and projects.
• Evaluate IT-related processes and implement practical solutions.
• Utilise AI tools to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor.
