Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an IT Infra & Support Engineer to oversee day-to-day administration, maintenance and support of the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring availability, security, performance and reliability of IT services.

The role also involves monitoring system health, backups, incident resolution, asset management, documentation, and collaboration with external vendors on upgrades and projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 1–2 years of working experience in IT System Administration or IT Infrastructure.
• Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Windows Server.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, SharePoint, networking, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, Switching, wireless and firewall administration.
• Experience in system backup, troubleshooting, hardware/software support and IT asset management.
• Good understanding of IT security, user access management and system maintenance.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work with users and external vendors.
• Knowledge or experience in SAP is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365 and SharePoint services, including user accounts and permissions.
• Manage Windows Servers, network infrastructure, firewall, Wi-Fi, printers, UPS and other IT infrastructure equipment.
• Perform routine system monitoring, maintenance, patching and troubleshooting.
• Perform and monitor daily backups, backup verification and DR Exercises.
• Provide first-level technical support to end users for hardware, software, network and IT issues.
• Troubleshoot IT incidents and service requests within SLAs.
• Maintain IT asset records and documentation of configurations and network diagrams.
• Assist with IT security activities including MFA, patch management and vulnerability remediation.
• Support IT projects, upgrades, migrations and infrastructure improvements.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware, software and network support.
