Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Senior IT Executive to manage and optimize our IT infrastructure across HQ and outlets. You will ensure high availability, security, and performance of servers, networks, storage, and cloud environments.

The role covers security, compliance, system administration, and project implementations, with hands-on work in Windows Server, Active Directory, VPNs, and disaster recovery. You will coordinate with vendors and internal teams to meet SLAs and support business

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems/network administration or IT operations, with strong hands-on knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, cloud, storage, backup/DR, LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, IT security, L2/L3 troubleshooting, and experience managing infrastructure projects, vendors, SLAs, and multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud environments across HQ and subsidiaries.
• Ensure system uptime, reliability, and performance through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
• Manage infrastructure capacity planning, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Maintain documentation of infrastructure architecture, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
• Manage LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, and network security across all locations.
• Ensure stable and secure connectivity between HQ, outlets, and subsidiaries.
• Coordinate with telecom providers and vendors for network performance and issue resolution.
• Monitor network performance and implement improvements where necessary.
• Administer Windows servers, Active Directory, email systems, and enterprise applications.
• Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions across systems.
• Oversee backup, disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity planning (BCP).
• Ensure data integrity and system resilience across all business units.
• Liaise with external vendors, system integrators, and service providers for infrastructure-related services.
• Manage SLAs and ensure timely delivery of support and projects.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align infrastructure with business needs.
• Lead or support infrastructure-related projects such as system upgrades, rollouts, and new implementations.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with IT standards.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations for infrastructure improvements.
• Provide Level 2/3 support for infrastructure-related incidents and issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Support IT service desk in resolving escalated technical issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reduce costs, and enhance security.
• Drive automation and standardization of infrastructure processes.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend adoption where beneficial.
