Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an IT Support and Infrastructure Assistant to assist day-to-day IT operations, troubleshoot and maintain networks, and support office administration. The role requires hands-on hardware/software management and collaboration with retail outlets and HQ.

The incumbent will compile IT inventory, prepare documentation, provide user training, and ensure policies and procedures compliance, with travel to retail outlets as needed.

Qualifications

• Possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 2 years working experience in the related field.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and willing to travel to retail outlets.
• Proactive, problem solving, communication skills, positive attitude and team players.
• Knowledge of hardware and software management, PC troubleshooting, IT networking, email configuration, firewall, web development.
• Able to communicate effectively with our diverse clients in English, Malay and Mandarin dialects.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to retail outlets and backend users, installing and configuring hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners.
• Compile, prepare and maintain IT inventory list.
• Study and identify solution designs to improve operational requirements.
• Prepare system documentation and instruction manuals for users.
• Provide training and support to users.
• Assist to improve and ensure compliance of system policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with all levels of users in improvement studies for workflow processes.
• Liaise with IT-related and office equipment suppliers, work closely with HQ on change requirements for hardware, software or system development and improvement.
• Assist in other tasks as assigned from time to time by the management.
