Jora Malaysia in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Network Architect to design, deploy and manage high-availability enterprise networks across multiple sites. You will configure routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs to ensure optimal throughput, low latency, and maximum redundancy.
Responsibilities include planning expansion, troubleshooting BGP/OSPF/VLAN/STP and IPsec VPNs, and implementing zero-trust and IDS/IPS controls.

Architect, deploy, configure, and optimise high-availability enterprise networks, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and load balancers.
Continuously evaluate and optimise network architecture to ensure optimal throughput, low latency, and maximum redundancy.
Oversee network architecture planning and expansion across office locations and production/manufacturing facilities.
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot complex routing and switching protocols, including BGP, OSPF, VLAN, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), and site-to-site IPsec VPN.
Perform advanced packet capture and in-depth diagnostic troubleshooting to identify and resolve complex network outages.
Implement and audit robust network defence mechanisms, including firewall access control lists (ACLs), IDS/IPS policies, VPN tunnels, and zero-trust access controls.
Work closely with regional cybersecurity teams to remediate vulnerabilities and reduce potential threat vectors.
Provide technical consultancy and network infrastructure support for ongoing enterprise IT system deployment projects.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), keep network topology diagrams up to date, and provide technical guidance to junior network engineers.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in enterprise network engineering, network design, and complex troubleshooting.
Possess HCIP, HCIE, CCNP, CCIE, H3CIE, or equivalent proven technical competence.
Hands‑on experience with mainstream enterprise network equipment, including Huawei, Cisco, H3C, Fortinet, and other equivalent enterprise solutions.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, STP, WAN, VPN, QoS, and enterprise firewall architectures.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively in high‑pressure, live‑production environments.
Fluent Mandarin is preferred for communication with Mandarin‑speaking regional engineering teams.
Willing to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.
Experience in large‑scale data centres, manufacturing plants, or multi‑branch enterprise network management.
Familiarity with network automation tools and technologies such as Python, Ansible, or SD‑WAN.
