J&T EXPRESS (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced IT Executive to join its Kulim Penang team. The role supports network infrastructure, systems, CCTV, and smart automation, ensuring security and efficiency across internal operations.

You will diagnose incidents, provide timely IT assistance, and maintain asset inventories while adhering to SLAs and SOPs. Multilingual communication skills are valued in a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 1+ year of IT support, networking, and infrastructure management.
• Experience with CCTV configuration, installation, and maintenance.
• Experience maintaining and calibrating smart automation devices.
• Good communication and teamwork with internal/external stakeholders.
• Proficient in Mandarin, English, and Malay.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software incidents involving desktops and Windows OS.
• Provide timely IT support to staff and partners for logged incidents.
• Work within SLA, IT policies, and SOPs.
• Submit weekly/monthly/quarterly IT reports to the Department Manager.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and perform audits as needed.
• Install and configure software using system images.
• Perform routine maintenance, patching, security controls, backups, and documentation.
• Support and troubleshoot system issues for regional partners.
• Configure, install, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems.
• Maintain smart automation devices for reliable performance.
• Monitor user permissions and train end-users on functions.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet security and operational requirements.

Job description

The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced IT Executive to join our dynamic team in Kulim Penang. As a full-time member of our Information & Communication Technology department, you will play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining our network infrastructure and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and resolve hardware and software incidents involving desktops, including Windows operating systems and a wide range of software applications.

Provide timely support to internal staff and partners for any logged IT-related incidents.

Work within defined SLA, IT policies, and standard operating procedures.

Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, or quarterly IT support reports to the Department Manager.

Maintain accurate IT asset inventory records and perform audits when required.

Install and configure standard software applications using prepared system images.

Execute routine system maintenance, patch management, security control, backup operations, and technical documentation.

Support and troubleshoot system issues and breaches for regional partners.

Configure, install, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems, ensuring functionality and compliance with security policies.

Maintain and calibrate smart automation devices (e.g., IoT systems, smart sensors) to ensure reliable performance.

Monitor and assign user permissions for internal staff access to systems and applications.

Provide user training on system features, updates, and ensure proper usage of new or enhanced functionalities.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure systems meet operational and security requirements.

Requirements:

Minimum a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Professional IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are an advantage.

At least 1 year of working experience in IT support, networking, and infrastructure management.

Experience in CCTV system configuration, installation, and maintenance.

Skilled in maintaining and calibrating smart automation devices.

Strong understanding of user access control and permission management.

Good communication and teamwork skills, able to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Proficient in written and spoken Mandarin, English, and Malay.

Experience with Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, WPS Office, printer troubleshooting, and CCTV software.

Strong report writing and documentation skills.

Able to train end-users on new system functions and updates effectively.
