Job summary

Resorts World Genting, Genting Highlands, Pahang, is seeking an IT Support professional to provide hands-on technical assistance, handle PC hardware/software issues, and maintain security software.

The role involves deploying software with WSUS, monitoring SLAs, and driving process improvements, alongside strong English communication and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Fresh graduates are welcome; training provided; daily on-site work at Resorts World Genting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or IT or related field.
• Diploma with minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience providing onsite workstation hardware and software support.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical IT support for users, including setup and maintenance of PC hardware and software.
• Create and deploy software packages using WSUS and maintain antivirus activity.
• Perform small to medium-scale IT project management and implementation.
• Participate in process documentation and enforce policies and procedures.
• Suggest improvements to reduce on-site support hours.
• Monitor and ensure SLA adherence.
• Manage software licenses and track records promptly.
• Plan to reduce hardware waste in line with Go Green policy.

Job Description:

• Provide technical support for user regarding IT related issues including setup and maintenance of PC hardware and software
• Create and deploy software packages using WSUS and maintain antivirus activity
• Perform small to medium scale IT project management and implementation
• Participate actively in process documentation as well as policies and procedures enforcement
• Provide recommendations and ideas for continuous improvement and enhancement for reducing hours of onsite support
• Monitor and ensure service level agreement (SLA) is met
• Manage license software and able to track the records without any delay
• Plan to reduce waste of IT hardware to follow company procedure as Go Green

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology related fields; or
• Diploma with minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
• Know how to provide onsite support for workstations, hardware and software issues
• Must be positive, hardworking and able to work within tight schedule and meeting deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills with good written and verbal communication in English
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, pro-active, resourceful and able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Able to be teamed up with colleagues to perform IT systems support functions Experience in iPad and Tablet support will be a major added advantage
• Willing to based at Resorts World Genting, Pahang
