Job summary

AIA Digital+ Malaysia is seeking an IT Operations Supervisor to lead a team of IT professionals and ensure 24/7 operations support. You will oversee application monitoring, batch processing, patch management, and network monitoring, while guiding incident resolution and change processes.

The role requires 7 years in IT operations with supervisory experience, a IT-related Bachelor's degree, and relevant certifications. On-site shifts including nights/weekends are required.

Qualifications

• 7 years of IT operations experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related discipline; relevant IT certifications are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of application monitoring, batch processing systems, patch management and network monitoring tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder interaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
• Oversee the continuous monitoring of applications to ensure optimal performance and availability, responding swiftly to alerts and incidents.
• Manage and execute batch jobs, ensuring timely completion and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
• Coordinate and implement patch management processes to maintain system security and reliability.
• Facilitate change management processes, ensuring changes are executed with minimal disruption and properly documented.
• Provide guidance and support to the team in resolving incidents effectively.
• Provide first-line technical support and escalate to higher levels as necessary.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues, ensuring secure operations.
