Job summary

AIA Digital+ in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an IT Operations Specialist to ensure 24/7 application availability and smooth IT service delivery. You will monitor applications, manage batch jobs, apply patches, and support incident management within a 24/7 IT Command Centre environment.

The role requires at least 1 year in IT support with a focus on system operations, a IT-related bachelor’s degree, and relevant certifications. On-site shifts include nights and weekends to maintain 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT support roles, with a strong focus on system operations.
OR an equivalent combination of qualifications and relevant experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related discipline is required.
Relevant IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA) are a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform continuous monitoring of applications to ensure optimal performance and resolve issues promptly.
Execute and manage batch jobs, ensuring timely completion and troubleshooting any errors.
Implement and manage patching processes to keep systems up-to-date and secure.
Execute change management procedures and assist incident management when needed.
Provide first-level technical support to internal teams and users.
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure network security.
