Job summary

Johnson Matthey Plc in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is seeking an IT Change and Problem Analyst to drive IT change governance and CAB coordination in a hybrid working setup. You will review change records, ensure quality and compliance, and monitor change performance across a global IT landscape.

The role requires working in a multi-national context, strong ITSM tool experience, ITIL Foundation, and proactive problem-solving with data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Experience in a global/multi-national environment.
• Experience with ITSM platforms; exposure to BMC Helix is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems and applications (MS Office, Outlook, core tools).
• Strong problem-solving mindset with proactive, solution-oriented approach.
• Analytical and data-driven thinking with attention to detail.
• Clear and confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement.
• ITIL Foundation certified.
• Experience working in complex, international teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and govern IT changes throughout the change lifecycle, ensuring compliance with the Change Management process.
• Review change records for quality and completeness, including risk, impact, plans, testing, rollback, services/CIs and business impact.
• Challenge inadequate change submissions and work with owners to improve quality before approval.
• Coordinate and support CAB meetings, ensuring representation, decisions and actions are captured.
• Monitor upcoming change activity to identify scheduling conflicts and risks.
• Govern Standard, Normal and Emergency Changes and ensure proper approval path.
• Track change performance (successful, failed, backed out, emergency) and identify trends.
• Ensure post-implementation reviews are completed for high-risk or significant changes.
