Job summary

Johnson Matthey Plc in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, invites applications for an IT Change, Problem and Continuity Management Analyst. This hybrid role coordinates IT changes across the lifecycle, reviews change records, and supports CAB meetings to ensure quality and risk mitigation.

You will monitor change activity, enforce approval paths, and drive post-implementation reviews in a global environment. The role requires strong ITSM experience, ITIL certification, and excellent stakeholder

Qualifications

• Experience operating in a global/multi-national environment.
• Hands-on experience with ITSM platforms; exposure to BMC Helix is an advantage.
• Strong working knowledge of IT systems and applications (MS Office, Outlook, core enterprise tools).
• Strong problem-solving capability with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Analytical and structured in approach, with attention to detail and data-driven thinking.
• Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal, with strong stakeholder management.
• ITIL Foundation certified.
• Experience working in complex and international teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and govern IT changes throughout the change lifecycle while ensuring compliance with the Change Management process.
• Review change records for quality and completeness including risk, impact, implementation plans, testing evidence, rollback plans and business impact.
• Challenge inadequate change submissions and collaborate with change owners to improve quality before approval.
• Coordinate and support Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and capture decisions and actions.
• Monitor upcoming changes to identify scheduling conflicts, dependencies and service risks.
• Govern the approval paths for Standard, Normal and Emergency Changes.
• Track change performance and identify trends requiring intervention.
• Ensure post-implementation reviews for high-risk or failed changes.

The role:

• Coordinate and govern IT changes throughout the change lifecycle, ensuring compliance with the organization's Change Management process.
• Review change records for quality and completeness, including risk, impact, implementation plans, testing evidence, rollback plans, affected services/CIs and business impact.
• Challenge inadequate change submissions and work with change owners to improve quality before approval.
• Coordinate and support Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, ensuring appropriate representation, decisions and actions are captured.
• Monitor upcoming change activity to identify scheduling conflicts, dependencies and potential service risks.
• Support the governance of Standard, Normal and Emergency Changes and ensure the appropriate approval path is followed.
• Track change performance, including successful, failed, backed out and emergency changes, and identify trends requiring intervention.
• Ensure appropriate post-implementation reviews are completed for failed, high-risk or significant changes.

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

• Proven experience operating in a global / multi-national environment
• Hands-on experience with ITSM platforms; exposure to BMC Helix is an advantage
