Job summary

See Yong & Son Construction Sdn Bhd S(YS) is seeking a Junior IT & CCTV Admin Assistant to support day-to-day IT and CCTV operations and assist with general administrative tasks.

The role requires basic IT knowledge, familiarity with CCTV systems, and willingness to learn, with the ability to handle both technical and administrative duties and to communicate effectively with vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software and networking.
• Basic knowledge or experience with CCTV systems is an advantage.
• Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in IT support, CCTV support, IT administration or a related field.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Responsible, willing to learn and able to work independently.
• Able to perform both technical and administrative tasks.
• Possess a positive attitude and good problem-solving skills.
• Preferred: Basic CCTV troubleshooting, basic networking knowledge (LAN, Wi-Fi, IP), familiarity with Windows and computer hardware, good documentation and filing skills.
• Ability to communicate with external IT/CCTV vendors.

Responsibilities

• Assist with CCTV installation, maintenance and basic configuration.
• Monitor CCTV recordings and ensure system functionality.

We are looking for a Junior IT & CCTV Admin Assistant to support our day-to-day IT and CCTV operations while assisting with general administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should have basic IT knowledge, experience or familiarity with CCTV systems, be willing to learn, and be comfortable handling administrative duties.

Key responsibilities

IT & CCTV Support

Assist with the daily operation and monitoring of CCTV systems.

Perform basic troubleshooting for CCTV, computers, printers, network and other IT equipment.

Assist with CCTV installation, maintenance and basic configuration.

Monitor CCTV recordings and ensure the system is functioning properly.

Coordinate with external IT/CCTV vendors when technical issues require further assistance.

Maintain records of IT equipment, CCTV equipment and related documents.

Assist with basic user support such as computer setup, software installation and printer issues.

Administrative Support

Assist with general office administrative tasks and documentation.

Prepare, update and maintain records, reports and filing.

Assist with data entry and document preparation.

Handle basic correspondence, emails and other office-related matters.
