Job summary

See Yong & Son Construction Sdn Bhd S(YS) is seeking an Accounts Executive to manage full set of accounts, financial reporting, and payroll functions. The candidate should be detail-oriented, with strong knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in AUTOCOUNT and MS Excel.

Chinese language proficiency is highly preferred for business needs. The role requires independent work and teamwork, with responsibilities spanning monthly close, financial analysis, and collaboration with auditors

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related fields.
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in accounts executive role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
• Proficiency in AUTOCOUNT and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts and prepare financial and management reports.
• Perform day-to-day finance operations like Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets Management, Cash Management, General Ledger, and other functions.
• Keeping accurate records for all daily transactions.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities and financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain financial reports and records, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, organize & maintain financial records with proper filing.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns, applicable tax submissions and audits.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary and other professionals.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Accounts Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, financial reporting and payroll. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who is knowledgeable in accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and can work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities:

• Handle full set of accounts and prepare financial and management reports.
• Perform day-to-day finance operations like Account Receivables, Account Payable, Fixed Assets Management, Cash Management, General Ledger, and other functions.
• Keeping accurate records for all daily transactions.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities and financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain financial reports and records, ensuring timely and accurate Reporting, organize & maintain financial records with proper filling.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns, applicable tax submissions and audits.

• 3 years and above of relevant field working experience is highly preferable.

• Strong attention to details and accuracy.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in AUTOCOUNT accounting software, MS Office & MS. Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Ability to speak Chinese, English & Bahasa Malaysia is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently and in a team and manage multiple tasks with strict deadlines.
