Job summary

SYNBONE, a Swiss-based multinational in surgical education, seeks an IT Business Analyst & Support to bridge business needs and technology, supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Power BI.

You will analyze processes, document requirements, support UAT, deliver BI insights, train users, and contribute to digital transformation across the organization in Kulai, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of relevant IT/BA experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Experience with Power BI and data visualization.
• Ability to document requirements and support UAT.

SYNBONE is a Swiss-based multinational company, in the field of surgical education, providing advanced anatomical models and simulators for education and surgical procedures. Our customers are representing medical device manufacturers, education institutes, universities, and hospitals in over 80 countries.

We are looking for an IT Business Analyst & Support professional to help drive digital transformation, optimize business processes, and support our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bridging the gap between business and technology, supporting users, and delivering practical solutions that improve operational efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis & System Improvement

• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Gather, document, and translate business requirements into effective system solutions.
• Support configuration, testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors.
• Assist with system upgrades, enhancements, and new application implementations.
• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for business insights.

Application Support & Training

• Provide first-line support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and other business applications.
• Support Microsoft 365, SharePoint, reporting tools, and related business systems.
• Conduct user training sessions and create supporting documentation.
• Perform system monitoring and routine health checks.
• Maintain accurate IT documentation and support records.

Data Protection & Compliance

• Support compliance with data protection and privacy requirements.
• Assist with PDPA awareness initiatives and user training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in IT Support, Business Analysis, or a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Experience with workflow analysis, requirement gathering, and business process improvement.
• Good knowledge of Power BI, Microsoft 365, and related productivity tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
