Job summary

Synbone Sdn Bhd is seeking an IT Business Analyst to strengthen its digital ecosystem and ensure configurations align with regulatory standards. The role focuses on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, data modelling, and delivering practical solutions for non-technical users.

You will gather requirements, support system configurations, and assist in UAT while collaborating with IT, business, and vendors to drive the transformation roadmap.

Qualifications

• Advanced Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT support, business analysis, or related field.
• Significant experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is essential.
• Proficiency with Business Central's functionalities and reporting tools.
• Experienced in workflow analysis, requirements gathering, and data modelling.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; good command of written and spoken English.
• Able to understand business processes and translate requirements into clear, practical solutions.
• Execution-driven and detail-oriented, strong sense of responsibility, follows instructions, and delivers tasks as assigned.
• Calm and respectful when handling system issues, user requests, or pressure situations.
• Able to listen carefully, document requirements clearly, and communicate with non-technical users in a practical manner.
• Project management experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Analyse existing business processes, identify pain points, and recommend practical improvements, primarily using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and other business applications.
• Gather, analyse, and document functional requirements through discussions, interviews, and workshops with stakeholders.
• Support system configuration activities, prepare test scenarios, and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet defined business requirements.
• Act as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and vendors to ensure clear communication throughout system enhancements and change requests.
• Support system upgrades, new features, and add-on implementations with minimal disruption to daily operations.
• Assist in identifying system-related risks and support mitigation actions as guided by management.
• Support the creation and maintenance of Power BI reports and dashboards to enable operational and management reporting.
