Job summary

Tokio Marine Insurans (Malaysia) Berhad is seeking a Senior Process Improvement professional to lead Lean and transformation initiatives across functions. You will plan, coordinate, and document multi-functional projects, driving efficiency and waste elimination while analyzing data to support decisions.

The role requires seven years of related experience, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, and strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Operations, or related discipline.
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt required; Green Belt certification is an advantage.
• At least seven years’ experience in process improvement, operations, projects, or transformation.
• Insurance or financial-services experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean, DMAIC, Kaizen, process mapping, 5S, standard work, and visual management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Lean, DMAIC, Kaizen, process-mapping, and waste-elimination activities under the Senior Manager’s guidance.
• Help plan, coordinate, track, and document improvement projects, including milestones, risks, actions, and benefits.
• Collect and analyse process data, support root-cause analysis, and prepare clear findings and recommendations.
• Support workshops and stakeholder meetings, record decisions, and follow up agreed actions.
• Help run Lean and continuous-improvement training by preparing materials, coordinating sessions, facilitating exercises, and tracking participation.
• Maintain project dashboards, documentation, control plans, and post-implementation reviews.
• Promote customer focus, teamwork, and continuous improvement across business functions.

Insurance or financial-services experience is preferred.

Working knowledge of Lean, DMAIC, Kaizen, process mapping, 5S, standard work, and visual management.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret operational data.

Proficiency in process mapping, presentation, spreadsheet, data-visualisation, and productivity tools.

Good coordination, documentation, facilitation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Ability to support training activities and manage multiple project tasks.
